Positivity. Progression. Impact.

Always radiate positivity; speak positively about yourself and others, and when the negativity sneaks in, simply explore and assess it. Figure out where the negativity is coming from and eliminate it from your life. You may need to distance yourself from a person, change your perspective, or increase your time spent reflecting. Try saying positive affirmations about yourself at least once daily. Journal about your strengths, positive attributes, and the amazing impact you are going to make on the world. Even if you don’t always believe it, keep up the positivity and watch the transformation begin!

Progression: Constantly move forward in all aspects of life. You should always be striving towards a goal, dream, or destination. The fact of the matter is that no one is going to do the work for you. No one is going to hand you that degree. No one is going to get you that promotion. No one is going to start your business for you. You should wake up every morning hungry for more. God doesn’t wake you up every morning so that you can sit and be idle. Yes, you will have your days, weeks, and even years when you are at a stand-still. However, there is always tons of work that can be done in the parking lot while you are waiting for God to tell you to drive off. God will not let you stay stagnant; you should always be progressing—spiritually, mentally, physically, or in any other possible way that speaks to who you are and what you do.

Impact: Your gifts, skills, and talents are not for you. God didn’t bless you abundantly so that you can sit and think about how talented you are. He blessed you with those gifts so that you can impact the lives of others. I hate to be the one to say it, but your pain isn’t even all for you. You can learn and grow from it, but its purpose is to equip you with the tools you need to help people who have to go through similar situations. How can your gifts make a difference today?
